I have extensive experience in the field of user experience design, and love designing with words as a content strategist, UX designer and UX writer. Whatever you call it, I'll make it with user centered content + design.
I’m the lead content strategist and UX consultant for InvestorIM, a cryptocurrency exchange and social platform.
I built the initial content strategy through content audits, email & social media campaign planning, creating the knowledge base, writing product microcopy and eventually translating everything to high fidelity wireframes.
I was a UX Designer at Transamerica, a top financial services & insurance company.
TWO DESIGN PROJECTS OF NOTE…
1) Designing Transamerica.com into a responsive site by creating modular content components that scale across devices, and
2) Redesigning TRSRetire, a 401k management portal. On all projects I was responsible for the product microcopy and creating the final high-fidelity wireframes.
I started UXBeginner.com in 2013 as a side project. It’s now a popular entry point for professionals transitioning into UX Design.
AS A SITE OWNER & PUBLISHER…
I’ve had hands-on experience with the entire spectrum of content strategy: writing 100+ blog articles and email newsletters, producing and selling UX courses, content marketing & social media posting, continually executing off a content calendar and of course wrangling with WordPress (it’s a love/hate relationship).
